Zak-n-Wheezie conjoined twin bearded dragon lizards from Australia. Here they’re celebrating their joint birthday.  Below is their unbelievable x-ray — One body, two heads, and a spine that looks like an open zipper. There are many possible causes of this condition, but one likely culprit is conjoined twinning, the partial splitting, or joining, of embryos. Photograph by Frank J. Witte.
